The Windermere Foundation funds research and social programs in Victoria, Australia often overlooked by the Government and other organisations.  It may also provide seed funding which can lead to further funding from the Australian Government or more mainstream institutions. 

Occasionally the Foundation supports one-off projects, at the discretion of the Governors.
