Welcome to the Windermere Foundation

The Windermere Foundation is a Victorian charitable trust established through the generosity of Miss Edith Hughes-Jones to advance health and wellbeing in Victoria.

Over the last decade Windermere has supported Victorian health professionals, researchers and institutions with funding assistance to address priority health issues which are not adequately supported through existing funding schemes. Through such assistance Windermere also seeks to help develop future health care leaders in Victoria.

Areas receiving research and capacity building support have recently included rural health, child health, mental health, end of life care and primary health care.
